1) More than 2.56 in (65 mm)
Depress the pedal with a force of approximately 66 lbf (294 N, 30 kgf) and measure the distance between the upper surface of the pedal pad and the floor.
When the measurement is smaller than the specification, or when the pedal does not operate smoothly, contact with your SUBARU dealer.

Stowage of the cargo area cover
The cargo area cover can be stowed in under the cargo floor.
1. To open the lid, pull the handle up.
2. To keep the lid open, hang the hook (provided on the back of the lid) on the
rear edge of the roof.
3. Remove the left and right parts of the cargo floor lid.
4. Stow the cover housi
Power Steering Oil Pump
A: REMOVAL
1) Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
2) Remove the V-belts. <Ref. to ME(H4SO)-43, REMOVAL, V-belt.>
3) Remove the power steering oil pump assembly.
Disconnect the connector from power steering pump switch.
Disconnect the pressure hose (b) and suction hose (a)
