The hazard warning flasher should be used in day or night to warn other drivers when you have to park your vehicle under emergency conditions.
Avoid stopping on the road. It is best to safely pull off the road if a problem occurs. The hazard warning flasher can be activated regardless of the ignition switch position.
Turn on the hazard warning by pressing the hazard warning flasher switch. Turn it off by pressing the switch again.
NOTE
When the hazard warning flasher is on, the turn signals do not work.

Arming the system
CAUTION
In passive mode, the system will automatically activate the alarm but WILL NOT
automatically lock the doors. In order to lock the doors you must either lock them
as indicated in step 4 below or with the key once they have been closed. Failure
to lock the doors manually will result in

The key number is stamped on the key number plate attached to the key set.
Write down the key number and keep it in another safe place, not in the vehicle.
