It's important to note that the low fuel warning light activates when there's approximately 2.6 US gallons (10 liters, 2.2 Imperial gallons) of fuel remaining in the tank. The light will remain on until the tank is refilled to a level of about 4.0 US gallons (15 liters, 3.3 Imperial gallons).
