The key number is stamped on the key number plate attached to the key set.
Write down the key number and keep it in another safe place, not in the vehicle. This number is needed to make a replacement key if you lose your key or lock it inside the vehicle.
To make replacement keys, the security ID is also needed. Refer to “Key replacement” F2-4.

1. FRONT DOOR
1) Raise the front door glass to the top position.
2) Remove the door trim. <Ref. to EI-60, FRONT DOOR, REMOVAL, Door Trim.>
3) Remove the sealing cover.
CAUTION:
Carefully remove the butyl tape. Excessive force will easily break
the cover.
